The world is fast moving towards a future of unimaginable global turmoil, with the UK Met Office forecasting the Earth will pass the all-important 1.5°C global warming threshold in 2024/25. As discovered during the COVID-19 lockdown, when so many polluting sectors were taken offline, given the opportunity, the Earth has the incredible ability to heal itself. In many places around the world, smog and pollution dissipated, allowing the air to become so clean and clear that for the first time in 30+ years, the Himalayan mountains were visible in the Indian subcontinent.
